FOOTBALL: LEADERS Mossley travel to second-placed title rivals Skelmersdale United tomorrow in Evo-Stik League Division One North.
The Lilywhites hold a slender two-point advantage over their opponents, who have a whopping six games in hand.
Boss Steve Halford has a fully fit squad to choose from.
“It would be quite a bold statement to go to Skelmersdale and beat them,’ he said.
“They are the team everyone is looking at because they have so many games in hand.
“We all want to return to picking up regular victories and it would be good to get the ball rolling tomorrow.”
Midfield man Jay Gorton is in contention for a recall after being rested last time out.
HIGH-FLYING Oldham Boro can climb the table again tomorrow with victory at mid-table Nelson in Vodkat North-West Counties League Division One.
Tony Mills’ side, fifth in the table, are a point behind Atherton Collieries.
Chadderton head to Leek CSOB in NWCL Division One tomorrow.
Paul Buckley’s men have plenty of work to do to make up ground on the teams above them — Chadderton are six points behind nearest outfit West Didsbury and Chorlton, who are eighth.
