FOOTBALL:
MOSSLEY completed a double swoop ahead of tonight’s Manchester FA Premier cup clash with Maine Road at Seel Park (7.45pm kick-off).
Hyde FC striker Danny Broadbent, who scored seven goals in 21 appearances for the Tigers last season, links up again with player-manager Steve Halford, a former Hyde team-mate.
Midfield man Rick Sopel, formerly of Chadderton, Rochdale Town and Curzon Ashton, has also signed.
Both are eligible for tonight’s match.
Heading out of Seel Park is midfielder Chris Rowney, who has joined neighbours Curzon.
Halford is without Chris Brown, Adam Mather and Jay Gorton, who have work commitments, and cup-tied duo Chris Denham and Lewis Nightingale.
