FOOTBALL: NEW Mossley striker Danny Broadbent is pushing for a second successive start following his switch from Hyde FC.
The forward played for 88 minutes in the Lilywhites’ 1-0 midweek victory over Maine Road in the Manchester FA Premier Cup semi-final.
Sam Madeley looks certain to hold on to his place in tomorrow’s Evo-Stik League Division One North home clash with Wakefield, after scoring a superb solo goal to seal that cup win.
Meanwhile, the club have announced that former Athletic boss Joe Royle will be the special guest at their sportsman’s dinner on Friday, March 8.
Comic MC is Mike Sweeney, and there will be a three-course dinner.
