Oldham links with Giants

BASKETBALL:

OLDHAM’s Sports 4 All centre has joined the development programme for Manchester Giants basketball club.

The centre, with others in Bury, Stockport and Warrington, will be Giants-branded and provide facilities to build grassroots basketbal.

The two organisations will work to get more people involved in sport.

Giants head coach Jeff Jones welcomed the link.

“The partnership with these centres presents a tremendous opportunity to grow the sport," he said.

“At the same time, it is another step in establishing the long-term future of the Giants.”
