Free-scoring firsts on Merseyside mission

OLDHAM RU firsts have taken no prisoners in their last two North Lancashire Division One games.
The Manor Park side have rattled up 118 points in total with victories over lowly opponents Bury (65-0) and North Manchester (53-3). In a miserly show of defence, they have not conceded a try.
Tomorrow’s hosts are Mossley Hill, of Liverpool, and if the league table is any guide, Oldham should be too strong. The Merseysiders are third-bottom, two places and 12 points adrift of Oldham.
Coach Guy Lovgreen has added Paul Wardle and Phil Graham to the squad.
