Non-league football: MOSSLEY remain in third place in the Evo-Stik League Division One North table after winning four points from two Easter fixtures.

Yesterday Steve Halford's men travelled the relatively short distance to New Mills and returned with a 2-2 draw.

Chris Denham handed the Lilywhites an interval lead, before David Fitzpatrick levelled it two minutes after the restart.

Two minutes after that, Sam Madeley pounced to fire the visitors ahead, only for the Millers to earn a point thanks to Daniel Douglas-Pringle's late strike.

Play-off chasing Mossley now have six games remaining, beginning on Saturday when they welcome Prescot Cables.

On Saturday the Lilywhites were totally dominant in seeing off Radcliffe Borough at Seel Park.

Halford's side won 2-0 on a day when Borough 'keeper James Coates' brilliance prevented the hosts storming to a much bigger margin of victory.

OLDHAM Boro saw off Chadderton 2-1 yesterday in Division One of the Vodkat North-West Counties League.

Playing at Boro's temporary home - Atherton Collieries' Alder Street stadium - Boro went in front two minutes before half-time when James Curley pounced.

Lee Bancroft doubled the hosts' lead just after the hour.

Chadderton rallied and Chris Pauley scored with 15 minutes to go, but Boro held on for the victory and are now in seventh place in the league table.

Boro had seen Saturday's trip to Leek CSOB postponed because of snow.

Niall Sultan was Chadderton's hero on Saturday as he scored the equaliser in a 1-1 Andrew Street draw against Atherton LR.
