Big names to turn out at The Pollards

OLDHAM Cricket Club’s revival will continue on the eve of the new Lake Garage CLL campaign with a players’ and supporters’ pre-season dinner.
The event at the Pollards on Friday has attracted several high-profile personalities, including CLL chairman and secretary Neville Fletcher and Alan Wright.
Oldham East and Saddleworth MP Debbie Abrahams has a special interest in the club as her husband, John and his family have strong connections.
She and John will attend, as will former Oldham and current Lancashire player Luke Procter.
New Oldham chairman Rashid Hussain said: “It should be a great night, but there are still tickets for anyone who wants to come. Contact him on 07977 457459.
