Red-hot Reece nails Nook

SNOOKER:
FOLLOWING a break of 75 the previous week in the Oldham Amateur League, Reece Kershaw was again among the balls for Blue Club ‘A’.
He recorded breaks of 43 and 36 to help set up an conclusive 5-1 win at home to Nimble Nook.
After a disappointing run of results, North Chadd ‘A’ hit back with an emphatic 6-0 whitewash of Three Cs ‘B’.
With leaders Blue Club ‘B’ succumbing 5-1 at Nimble Nook ‘B’, the race for the title is wide open.
There are two rounds of matches to go and 12 points up for grabs, which means any one of six teams can mathematically scoop top honours.
However, it is a different story in the cards section.
Three Cs ‘B’ have an unassailable nine-point lead and, with just eight to play for, the crown is in the bag.
