NON-LEAGUE FOOTBALL:
MOSSLEY kept their Evo-Stik League Division One North play-off dream alive thanks to a dramatic late winner at Harrogate Railway Athletic.
After a game of relatively few chances, substitute Adam Mather rose superbly to head home the only goal from Ash Young's cross in the fourth minute of injury-time.
Mather had been due to start but was forced to take a spot among the substitutes after arriving late.
The Lilywhites now host Harrogate in their final game of the regular season, next weekend.
Steve Halford's men can sneak back into the play-off places ahead of Trafford – who they trail on goal difference – and/or Ramsbottom, who they trail by two points.
Trafford host Clitheroe in their final fixture, while Ramsbottom travel to champions Skelmersdale.
IN the North-West Counties League First Division, CHADDERTON fired themselves into 11th place in the table thanks to a 2-0 home victory against Eccleshall in their penultimate fixture.
Sean Nolan and Matthew O'Keefe were on target for the Broadway outfit in the second half.
Chadderton close their campaign with a trip to fellow-mid-table side Irlam tomorrow night.
OLDHAM BORO didn't play on Saturday, but wrap up their campaign tonight when they host Holker Old Boys at Alder Street (8pm kick-off).
