Chaddy boss stands down

FOOTBALL:
CHADDERTON manager Paul Buckley has decided to stand down from the position with immediate effect.
Buckley has been ill and advised by doctors to ease away from the stress of football.
Buckley has been manager of Chadderton for seven years, during which time the club always finished in the top half the North-West Counties First Division League table.
The Chadderton committee and players – past and present – have thanked Buckley for all hard the work he has put in.
Steve Patterson has now been appointed as the club’s new manager.
