Lake Garage CLL colts are celebrating victory in the Reader Inter-League Competition – a year late.
The 2012 final between the CLL and Bolton League was twice called off last year because of rain.
It was finally held at Heywood CC on Monday, when the CLL won by eight wickets.
ROYTON received the Cliff Burton Memorial Trophy after beating Werneth at the Paddock.
The trophy was presented by Trevor Lewis, who played for both clubs.
CROMPTON’S overseas amateur Denis Louis has arrived in England and will be available for Sunday’s home game against Royton.
