Marathon man Ian slices four minutes off record

IAN McBride produced the highlight of many magnificent performances as Royton Road Runners took part in a variety of marathons across Britain.
His incredible run of 2hrs, 27mins, 35secs in the Greater Manchester Marathon earned him fifth place - marking him out as an elite marathon runner and breaking his own club record by more than four minutes.
Ian was one of 19 Royton athletes who chose Manchester for their spring marathon and three others broke the three-hour barrier.
