BOTH Delph and Woodhouses dodged showers to record important victories.
In the top flight of the Drakes Huddersfield League, Holmfirth took first knock against Delph and stuttered to 126 for nine, with Warren Jones and Matt Norvall taking four wickets apiece.
In reply, Irfan Zahoor (51) and Faisal Butt (50) both notched half-centuries as Delph secured a comfortable win by six wickets.
In the Lees Brewery Lancashire County League, Roe Green batted first against Woodhouses and reached 151 for seven in between the showers.
Simon Cormie was then in fine form, hitting a smart 51 as, chasing a revised target of 132, Woodhouses reached 133 for six to pocket four points.
