Third time lucky for Saints?

RUGBY: OLDHAM St Anne’s head to West Yorkshire tomorrow aiming to make it third time lucky.
Chris Deakin’s side have suffered consecutive defeats, 48-8 at Oulton on Saturday and three days later 34-16 at home to Leigh East.
Saints’ third game in eight days takes them to Eastmoor Dragons — currently two places below them in National Conference League Two. St Anne’s, in sixth, have the chance to move up a couple of places.
In Division One, Waterhead head to another Wakefield-based outfit Stanley Rangers.
Defeated 48-24 at home by Premier Division outfit Egremont Rangers in the Challenge Trophy last week, Andy Sands’ side will hope for better results against a club currently propping up the foot of the table.
Saddleworth Rangers, beaten 70-0 at East Leeds last time out, have a spare weekend in which to lick their wounds.
