Woodhouses on their travels

CRICKET: WOODHOUSES will be looking to continue their impressive away form this weekend.
So far this term the Medlock Road outfit have won both of their away fixtures in the Lees Brewery Lancashire County League, and tomorrow they head to Denton St Lawrence for what is set to be an intriguing fourth-versus-fifth clash.
In-form Woodhouses – who have won three from four in total so far in 2013 –then turn their attention to the Walkden Cup on Sunday as they travel to struggling Flowery Field.
Both matches are scheduled to get under way at 1pm.
DELPH also face a league and cup double-header this weekend. Grant Jones’s men host fellow mid-table side Scholes tomorrow in the Drakes Huddersfield League top flight (1.30pm).
Delph continue the defence of the Sykes Cup on Sunday when they host Premiership rivals Shelley in a second-round clash. That match is due to start at 1pm.
