CRICKET: AUSTERLANDS’ reward for sweeping aside Glodwick is a home tie in the quarter-finals of the Tanner Cup.
Skipper Adam Young, whose run out of professional Rehan Rafiq proved crucial in helping to restrict last year’s beaten finalists to 151, will pit his wits against Lloyd Kingston’s Moorside on Saturday, June 15.
In the other last-eight match-ups, Heyside are at home to Greenfield, Shaw play host to Hollinwood and Uppermill take on Droylsden or Bamford Fieldhouse at Leefields.
