DARTS:
REGULARS at the Blue Belle in Royton hit the bull’s eye when they welcomed British Darts Organisation superstar Tony O’Shea to their pub for an exhibition evening.
The place was packed as three-time BDO World Championship finalist O’Shea took on 22 players.
Playing three-leg matches, O’Shea lost only once - to delighted Blue Belle team member Dave Ramsbottom.
Organiser Mark Appleton said: “We had a tremendous night with Tony. What a total gentleman he is.
“He mingled with everyone throughout the night and you could see he was really enjoying himself.
“He’s a credit to the sport.”
