WOODHOUSES were Denton West's latest victims as they slipped to defeat in the Lees Brewery Lancashire County League.
Batting first, league leaders West racked up a considerable 244 for seven from their allocation of overs as John McAllister struck an impressive 80 and Jon Barnett 70.
Dave Morrell was Woodhouses' best with the ball as he returned four for 51.
Woodhouses' reply never truly got going and they could only stutter to 142 for eight, leaving West to march on to a seventh straight victory of 2013.
Woodhouses remain fourth in the table.
DELPH also remain in fourth place in the Drakes Huddersfield League Premiership standings after being beaten by the leaders.
Hosts Shepley won the toss and batted first — a good decision, sicne they registered 241 for nine.
In Delph's reply, Graeme Simpson was left stranded on 59 not out and Luke Hargreaves hit 47, but some tight bowling from the hosts meant the visitors only managed to reach 166 for seven by the time the overs ran out.
