Tough weekend

CRICKET: A TOUGH double-header weekend beckons for in-form Woodhouses.
Tomorrow they will look to build on last weekend’s high-scoring Lees Brewery Lancashire County League victory over Stretford when they travel to Dukinfield.
Attentions are then turned to the Walkden Cup quarter-finals on Sunday when Woodhouses are on their travels again, this time to Prestwich. Both games get underway at 1pm.
IT’S action all the way this weekend for Delph. Tomorrow, Grant Jones’s men host fellow Drakes Huddersfield League Premiership mid-table outfit Hall Bower.
And on Sunday, Delph continue their defence of the Sykes Cup, but their task will be a difficult one as a third-round tie takes them to a Shepley side who currently top the Premiership table.
Both weekend matches start at 1.30pm.
Delph make it three matches in three days on Monday evening (6.30pm) when they head to Golcar for an All Rounder Twenty20 Cup group one fixture.
