CRICKET:
DELPH skipper Grant Jones will be seeking a positive response from his players tomorrow (1.30pm) when they get back to Drakes Huddersfield League Premiership action.
The Sykes Cup holders, dumped out of this year’s competition by high-flying Shepley last Sunday, host a Skelmanthorpe side currently hovering just above the drop zone.
WOODHOUSES will also be seeking to shake off a cup hangover this weekend when they face two crucial Lees Brewery Lancashire County League fixtures.
Beaten in the Walkden Cup last Sunday when they were bowled out for just 44 at Prestwich, third-placed Woodhouses have the chance to bounce back when second-from-bottom Thornham visit tomorrow.
A trip to fourth-from-bottom Flowery Field beckons on Sunday. Both matches start at 1pm.
