TEENAGE Oldham Netball Club ace Alice Travis is currently preparing with the England under-21s squad to take part in the World Youth Championships.
The tournament takes place next month in Glasgow, after which Travis will jet off to Jamaica for a Test Series against Jamaica, Barbados, and Trinidad and Tobago.

She said: “I am following in big sporting shoes and can’t believe how lucky I am.
“The mentoring support will make a massive difference to me.”
Along with Manchester sprinter Lee Whiteley, Ashton-based Travis attended a Mentoring and Education Programme (MEP) session focusing on media training led by Kelly Holmes Education.
Throughout the sessions the pair were able to take on advice from sporting greats including Dame Kelly Holmes, Mark Foster, Nick Gillingham, and Rachel Yankey.
