A SOLID all-round performance from Delph helped secure another Drakes Huddersfield League Premiership victory at Shelley on Saturday.
Jamshad Ahmad was the pick of the bunch as Grant Jones's side warmed up nicely for tomorrow night's crunch All Rounder Twenty20 quarter-final tie at home against Clayton West (6.30pm start).
Delph eased their way to 204, with Graeme Simpson scoring 50, Ahmad 42 and Matt Norvall 26.
Delph's former professional Bilal Khiljee returned an impressive five for 70.
In reply, Khiljee couldn't sufficiently inspire his team to a winning total.
Khiljee scored 39, but Shelley were bowled out for 126.
WOODHOUSES got back to victorious ways in the Lees Brewery Lancashire County League.
In action at fourth-placed Glossop, the visitors drew level with their hosts thanks to an eight-wicket success.
Replying to Glossop's 152 for nine, Woodhouses reached their target easily as Shereryat Hassan struck a well-constructed 68.
