WALSDEN will play Heywood in the final of the John Willie Lees Wood Cup.
Walsden defeated Monton and Weaste by eight wickets in yesterday's semi-final, while Heywood overcame Clifton by 57 runs.
Nick Barker took four for 20 as hosts Monton were skittled for only 96.
In reply, Walsden cruised to 100 for two, Matthew Dawson leading the way with an unbeaten 29.
Heywood took first guard at Clifton and racked up 295 for five, Clifton were well on course to chase down their massive target but lost wickets at key moments and were bowled out for 238.
Heywood will host the final on Sunday, August 4, while the Burton Cup final for CLL second teams will feature the same two clubs the following Sunday.
The venue will be decided by the toss of a coin.
Royton (264-6) went down to Walsden (270-8) in the semi-finals.
