Non-league clubs continue build-up
Date published: 26 July 2013
FOOTBALL: MOSSLEY, Chadderton and Oldham Boro continue their preparations for their respective non-league campaigns tomorrow.
Joint managers Peter Band and Lloyd Morrison take their Mossley side to Abbey Hey as the countdown gathers pace for the start of next month’s Evo-Stik League season.
AFC Blackpool have stepped in to fill the void vacated by Winsford as Chadderton FC boss Steve Patterson runs the rule over his North-West Counties League charges at Broadway.
Patterson was pleased with team’s performance in the 3-2 loss at Colne in midweek.
Matty Russell and Jamie Fawcett were on target for Chadderton, who trailed 2-0 at one stage.
Boro, also from the NWCL, visit Old Standians.
