MOSSLEY’S pre-season preparations continued to gather pace on Saturday as they won convincingly 3-0 at North-West Counties League top-flight new boys Abbey Hey.
A smart finish from Kayde Coppin got the Lilywhites off and running after half-an-hour in Gorton.
Andy Keogh’s well-placed header doubled the lead after an hour, then two minutes later substitute Charlie Weir wrapped up the victory as he scored with his first touch.
Mossley face a sterner test in tomorrow night’s latest pre-season fixture as they host Altrincham in a game which kicks-off at 7.45 pm.
CHADDERTON lost 1-0 against AFC Blackpool at Broadway on Saturday.
Their final warm-up game sees them host Marsden tomorrow night (7.30pm) before the new North-West Counties League campaign gets under way at Hanley Town on Saturday.
OLDHAM BORO head off to Manchester League side Dukinfield Town for a friendly game tonight (7.30pm).
