THE Sky’s the limit for Royton golfer Rachel Connor this week.

In the countdown to the Solheim Cup in Denver on Friday, the 23-year-old pro has turned TV analyst.

Rachel has offered her thoughts on the biannual competition, which pits the finest golfers from America against their European counterparts, as part of the Sky Sports preview.

And she hopes one player in particular stars for the European team — captain’s pick and best friend Jodie Ewart-Shaddof.

“I have a take on both sides as I play in America and I know what it is like out there,” said Rachel, who is hoping to celebrate a first European victory in America on Sunday.

“I’m also getting all the gossip from Jodie, who keeps texting me with bits and pieces of news.

“I don’t see myself as being a golfer. I do enjoy the other side of it as well and TV work is part of that.”

Rachel, who is recovering from a back injury, says it would be a dream to play in the Solheim Cup in the future: “I’ve represented England in a team format and it was something I really enjoyed, so it would be great if I was able play in it one day.”
