MEDAL hope: Jess Fullalove
OLDHAM’S national youth swimming champion and top-ranked British back-stroker Jessica Fullalove will join the Great Britain swimming squad at the World Junior Championships in Dubai later this month.
A record 905 athletes across 93 nations will compete in the biggest-ever world junior championships.
Great Britain’s 14 swimmers include 11 European junior medallists, including Jess, whose parents will travel to Dubai to cheer her on.
Jess competed aged 15 at the previous World Junior Championships in Peru in 2011 — and is looking to improve on her 10th-place performance.
