Non-league football: CHADDERTON and OLDHAM BORO both face potentially-tricky home fixtures in the North-West Counties League First Division tomorrow.
Chadderton’s joint bosses Steve Patterson and Mark Cook will be desperate to bounce back from their midweek disappointment as they play second-placed Daisy Hill.
On Tuesday Chadderton led for the majority of their home clash against Cheadle Town only to lose 2-1 with two goals in the dying minutes.
On the same evening, Daisy Hill were thumping Northwich Villa 4-1. They have now won three of their opening four games while Chadderton haven’t yet won.
Boro have made a satisfactory start under Tony Mills, and welcome Irlam to their Alder Street, Atherton, base tomorrow.
Boro have won one, drawn one and lost one in their opening three fixtures of the season.
MOSSLEY are at home as they get their Evo-Stik Division One North campaign under way with a Seel Park clash against Kendal Town.
It’s been a summer of much change for the Lilywhites after they finished fourth and reached the play-offs last season. New joint-managers Peter Band and Lloyd Morrison will be keen to get off to a flying start after replacing Steve Halford, who left in June
All the games kick-off at 3pm.
