NON-LEAGUE FOOTBALL: TWO late goals earned Mossley a thrilling 3-3 draw in their Evo-Stik Division One North clash at Ossett Town.
The hosts went in front early on through Nick Wood. But the Lilywhites responded two minutes later as Kevin McGrath powerfully headed home to even the score.
After the break, Ossett striker Fernando Moke scored twice in a devastating nine-minute spell to make it 3-1 and Mossley were up against it.
But the visitors showed great character as Sam Madeley struck in the 81st minute, diving to head home Dougie Carroll’s cross.
With four minutes to go John Bennett rescued a point for the Lilywhites — their second of the season — as he rifled home from distance after being expertly teed up by Madeley.
Mossley went in search of their first win of the season this afternoon (3pm kick-off) as they hosted Tameside neighbours Curzon Ashton at Seel Park.
