FOOTBALL: OLDHAM Hulmeians triumphed 5-1 at Roach Dynamos to record a third straight victory in the Lancashire Amateur League First Division.
Oldham opened the scoring on the half-hour mark when forward Ant Williams raced into the box before pulling the ball back for midfielder Danny Wooliscroft, who produced an excellent finish.
A great 20-minute spell at the start of the second half saw the Maroons race into a 4-0 lead.
The home side pulled a consolation goal back before Binns, in only his third game back after tearing his cruciate ligament at the start of last season, completed a fantastic hat-trick by flicking home a Steven Delafield cross. The result took the Maroons to fourth in the table.
