SNOOKER star Joe Swail will stage an exhibition at Tara Leisure, Shaw, on December 7. The 2000 and 2001 World Championship semi-finalist practices regularly at Tara. He will play 12 frames against players of a varying standard, three of them chosen on the night. Tickets are already on sale.

A FINE 4-2 home victory over Chadderton Reform saw St Pauls climb to the top of the Oldham Amateur Snooker League table.
Elsewhere, T Hussain’s break of 39 was enough to take the first frame for Three Cs ‘A’ at Blue Club ‘A’.
Then Reece Kershaw’s break of 39 in the final frame was bettered by opponent S Zummard’s 46 as he took the final frame for Three Cs to secure a 4-2 victory.
