Wake-up call for stunned Hollinwood

RUGBY:
AFTER an impressive start to the Pennine League season, Hollinwood were stunned 62-6 by a Crofton side who finished last term bottom of the table.
The Wakefield side fielded an almost completely new team and Hollinwood rarely got a look in.
Jack Mayall was knocked unconscious after 10 minutes and took no further part in the game.
It was over as a contest by half-time as Crofton led 30-0.
The second period was largely one-way traffic again, though Pete Jackson managed to find a way through to a score which was converted by Andy Gorey.
Credit to Hollinwood for never giving up, but they will now have to assess the injury situation before their visit to Garforth on Saturday.
