Jack Kilgannon: title-winner
BOXING: FRESH from his successful trip to Poland with five of his Boarshaw Gym stablemates, Jack Kilgannon has won the North-West Regional Boys’ boxing title.
Eighteen-year-old Kilgannon, from Royton, beat Northside’s Jack Rafferty in the final at the Walkden Community Sports College.
Kilgannon’s victory was particularly sweet: he was beaten by Rafferty in last year’s final.
