Jolly boys have no mercy on Legends

OLDHAM SUNDAY LEAGUE
PAUL Collins and Paul Naylor both struck hat-tricks as Jolly Carter went goal crazy in the Midas Plumbing and Heating Oldham Sunday League Jack Abbott Premier Division.
The Jolly boys crushed Legends Athletic 10-1 as Dave Leigh (two), Mike Tierney and Rob Walton were also on the mark.
Athletic’s reply came from Vinny Edwards.
Crompton House Old Boys and Failsworth Athletic drew 2-2 (see Match of the Day), while Rifle Range ‘A’ edged out Famous King George by the odd goal in seven.
On target for Range were Ryan Hobin (two), J Steele and L Mallit, while A Ainsworth, M Barlow and N Hindley replied.
Limeside King George eased past Coppice United ‘A’ 2-0.
Callum Beckett and Kevin Knowles scored two each as Carrion Crow beat Saddleworth FC 5-4 in David Giblin Division One.
Adam Biggins also registered for Carrion, with Adam Young (two), N Lamb and an own-goal replying for Saddleworth.
Dominic Hallum (three) and Danny Pearson (two) provided the firepower for Dog and Partridge as they beat Limeside Athletic 5-3.
Shaun Lowther (two) and Declan Sandford netted for Limeside.
Luke Mack and John Line scored two apiece for FC Dynamos, but they were still held – 4-4 – by Westwood.
On target for the visitors were Al Amin, Moklisur Rahman, Abdul Hussain and Iqbal Alam.
In Martin Buckley Division Two action, there was another high-scoring draw as All Star and Manchester Swifts shared 12 goals in a thrilling game.
Joe Jackson scored four for the Swifts, with Kyle Boland and Anthony Waldren also on the mark.
All Star’s goals came from Azad Miah (two), Enamul Islam (two), Aftabur Rahman and Salah Uddin.
Danny Oatway (two), Jason Westwood (two), Ryan O’Connell and Anthony Walsh scored for Royton Athletic as they prevailed 6-2 at Coppice United ‘B’. Adeel Rangzaib and Rifaqat Basheer responded.
