SADDLEWORTH endured mixed fortunes in Division One of the Oldham and District Table Tennis League.
Paul Cicchelli, Larry Bainbridge and Nick Mooney did the damage as the ‘A’ team swept aside their Honeywell Lane counterparts 9-1.
Simon Hardwick replied with a consolation point for the hosts.
Unfortunately for the Saddleworth club, the ‘B’ team succumbed 8-2 at Hollinwood’s ‘B’.
James Chappell and David Eden earned three wins apiece and Daniel Clarke two in comprehensive triumph.
Honeywell ‘C’ continued their good form in Division Two by claiming eight points at Pennine, for whom Glen Chadwick provided most resistance with two good wins.
Rosehill, the leaders, won again. On this occasion it was by a 9-1 margin against Grotton ‘A’.
Honeywell ‘D’ and Uppermill ‘A’ could not be separated, with no player escaping defeat.
