Hot-shot Alamin fires Rocs

ALAMIN Abiru bagged a super double hat-trick as Rocs FC under-14s made progress in the Knock-out Cup.

Rocs were in superb form as they crushed Rossendale Valley Tigers 11-0 as Steven Affleck (three), Mason Dinsdale and Jack Rattigan were also on the mark.

CHADDERTON Park under-14s Eagles beat Ladybridge 3-1 thanks to goals from Logan Wolstenholme, Kieran May and Ryan Slater.

BROADWAY Celtic under-16s edged out Elton and Walshaw Lynx 3-2.

Celtic’s scorers were James Dwyer (two) and Danny Grant.

CHADDERTON Park under-12s Lions made it through to the quarter-final stage as they beat Barr Hill 4-1.

The victory came thanks to a superb hat-trick from Sean Florence, and Will Parker.

Park’s under-11s Eagles crashed out of cup, losing 4-1 against Fletcher Moss, while the under-11s’ interest in the competition also ended as they went down 2-0 at De la Salle.
