RUGBY:
DEPLETED Hollinwood slid to a 40-6 defeat at Pennine League Division Five leaders Kinsley.
Only 11 players made themselves available - but they gave 110 per cent.
The final score would have been much closer had the home side not scored two late converted tries as the visitors tired.
Hollinwood have no fixture this weekend due to the World Cup final.
HIGGINSHAW were handed an 18-0 defeat by Eccleston after being unable to raise a team, meaning the Vikings leap-frogged them in the North-West Counties League Upper Division table.
Higgy are due to travel to struggling Albert Park on Saturday.
