FOOTBALL:
OLDHAM Boro secured a first win in seven games last night to move up to 15th place in the North-West Counties League First Division.
Hosting Atherton LR, Boro were two up at the interval thanks to strikes from Reece Hardie and Nathan Adam. Kristian Holt replied for Atherton in the second half, but Boro held on for a 2-1 win.
