Mak attack puts North in control

SNOOKER: NORTH Chadderton ‘B’ moved to the top of the Oldham Amateur Snooker League with a 4-2 victory over Blue Club ‘A’ - a break of 34 from S Mak being the highlight for the home side.
The new leaders hold a three-point advantage over their ‘A’ team and Deaf ‘A’, who lost 5-1 at Blue Club ‘B’, and Royton Band, 4-2 losers against Three Cs ‘A’ for whom T Hussain made a break of 51 – the highest of the week.
