OLDHAM overcame injuries to skipper Gareth Barber and Will Mellor on their way to victory over the bottom club in North Lancashire Division One.
Barber pulled his hamstring in the first half and his position at stand-off was filled by Jordan Green, while Mellor sustained a cut eye early in the second half and had to leave the field while physio Lorna Jepson carried out running repairs.
To their credit, both sides opted to run the ball from penalties, but Oldham had to wait until midway through the first half to open their account.
