NON-LEAGUE FOOTBALL: MOSSLEY joint-manager Peter Band has admitted he and Lloyd Morrison are feeling the pressure after a run of dismal results.
A severe list of injured and suspended players isn’t helping the Lilywhites, but the team has suffered eight straight league defeats.
Band said: “The board does understand the situation. They want results to be better, but Lloyd and I are doing our best to turn things around.
“We’re putting pressure on ourselves. That’s how it’s got to be. We’re depleted again this weekend, but it’s a case of all hands to the pump from the players that are available.”
The Lilywhites have a great chance to turn the corner tomorrow when they host a Radcliffe Borough side below them in the table.
CHADDERTON start 2014 as one of the form teams in the North-West Counties League First Division.
The 4-1 Boxing Day derby thumping of Oldham Boro was Chaddy’s third straight victory, and tomorrow they will hope to extend their winning streak when Rochdale Town visit Andrew Street.
Boro have lost their last two games, but will be hopeful of getting back to winning ways at second-bottom Eccleshall.
All the above games kick off at 3pm.
