SNOOKER: DANNY Dawson dealt Three Cs ‘A’ an Oldham Amateur Snooker League title blow with a devastating last-frame performance for Deaf ‘B’
The title contenders were 59 points to the good going into the last frame against Deaf despite the four previous frames having been shared.
Young Josh Cooper was handed the task of steering them to victory, but Three Cs had not reckoned on the skills of Dawson, who showed his fondness for the venue by winning the frame 84-14 to secure an unlikely aggregate bonus point and leave Three Cs four points adrift of leaders North Chadderton ‘A’ and two behind second-placed North Chadderton ‘B’.
