Non-league wash-out

NON-league football was totally washed out on Saturday.

Mossley must wait until Wednesday-week before they return to action, playing host to Trafford in the Manchester Premier Cup semi-final. Their Evo-Stik Division One North clash with Northwich Victoria was postponed due to a waterlogged Seel Park pitch.

Heavy rain also caused the cancellation of Chadderton’s home game with Widnes Vikings, and Oldham Boro’s fixture with Nelson.

Next up for Chadderton is a trip to Atherton LR on Saturday, while Boro head to Hanley Town.
