Mighty Mac coasts home in Blackpool

RUNNING: ROYTON Road Runners star Ian McBride raced to victory in the annual Great North-West Half Marathon around Blackpool.
After finishing on the podium in the last three years, McBride was determined not to be beaten.
Ignoring the option of sitting in the leading pack in challenging windy conditions, he romped home almost two minutes clear of his nearest rivals in a remarkable 1:14:01.
