JOINT-manager Peter Band is looking for a big response from his Mossley players as they return to Evo-Stik League Division One North action tomorrow at play-off chasing Lancaster City.
The 10-man Lilywhites were thumped 3-0 at home by Trafford on Wednesday night in the Manchester Premier Cup semi-final - a truly miserable night for the home side, which struggled throughout then lost Kevin McGrath to a red card.
The Lilywhites remain comfortably in mid-table, but Band is keen to shake off his midweek woes at the Giant Axe.
McGrath will be available tomorrow as his suspension doesn’t kick in yet. Meanwhile hot-shot Dougie Carroll and midfielder Dean Warburton are also back in contention having shaken off troublesome injuries. The Lilywhites also face an away league fixture on Monday, at New Mills.
OLDHAM Boro are away at Atherton LR in the North-West Counties First Division. Tony Mills’ men will also be looking to bounce back after slipping to a disappointing 2-0 reverse at second-bottom Eccleshall on Wednesday.
CHADDERTON have no fixture tomorrow. They are due back in league action on Tuesday when they are set to host Hanley Town.
