BOXING:
OLDHAM welterweight Marvin Greaves isn’t prepared to let the dust settle under his feet.
The 32 year old is aiming to be out again soon following his unanimous victory over Kristian Laight at Oldham Sports Centre.
“I’m looking for another fight in two to three weeks, definitely,” said Greaves. “The more fights I have, the more know-how I’ll get. I’ll be back in the gym this week, back to sparring and be out soon.
“I love it when I fight regularly. For me, because I’m 32 and I haven’t had an amateur career, I need more fights to get experience.”
Greaves added: “The guy I fought had a lot of experience, more than 150 fights. I had to be cautious in there, but not too cautious.”
