Rifle find their range

FOOTBALL: RYAN Hobin was among the goals again for Rifle Range ‘A’ in their Midas Plumbing and Heating Oldham Sunday League Jack Abbott Premier Division Shield clash against Failsworth Athletic.
Newly-crowned league champions Range triumped 7-2 at Athletic, as Hobin bagged a hat-trick, while Ryan Fagan, Leighton Stephenson, Damien Schofield and Stephen Grimshaw were also on target.
Levi Morris and Niall Sultan replied for Athletic.
Jolly Carter won 4-1 at Coppice United. Rob Walton (two), Paul Naylor and Jonny Gordon netted for the victors, with Steve Barrow replying for Coppice.
In the David Giblin Division One Shield, Callum Standring scored a treble for Rifle Range ‘B’ as they saw off FC Dynamos 7-4.
Mitchell Clegg (two), Nathan Barker and Jacob Davies also scored for Range, while Luke Mack bagged all four of Dynamos’ goals.
