Win for Chadderton

FOOTBALL:

GOALS from Macauley Harewood, Danny Murray and leading scorer Matty Russell – now returned from New Mills – handed Chadderton a 3-1 North-West Counties League First Division win against Ashton Town.

All the goals came during an impressive second half from the hosts, who secured their first victory in eight games.

Oldham Boro are in league action tonight, when they head north for an away fixture at Holker Old Boys (7.45pm kick-off).
