RUGBY:
THERE is lots at stake when Rochdale Mayfield and Saddleworth Rangers lock horns on Saturday.
The clash, at Mayfield Sports Centre, Castleton, doubles up as Kingstone Press National Conference League Division One fixture and a Standard Cup semi-final (kick-off 2.30pm).
If the match is tied, the toss of a coin will decide which team goes through to the final.
The other last-four match takes place on Sunday, with NCL Division Two rivals Oldham St Anne’s and Waterhead, the holders, meeting at Higginshaw Road (11.30am).
SADDLEWORTH Rangers ‘A’ suffered a narrow 24-22 loss at home to Heysham Atoms in Division One of the North-West Men’s League.
In Division Two, Oldham St Anne’s ‘A’ were on the wrong end of a 64-22 defeat at Rylands Sharks.
