JOLLY Carter and Royton Athletic both progressed through to the Midas Plumbing and Heating Oldham Sunday League Challenge Cup semi-finals.
Jolly Carter edged out Crompton House Old Boys 2-1 in their last-eight tie, courtesy of a double from Rob Walton.
Martin Buckley Division Two Athletic stunned Westwood, from David Giblin Division One, 5-2. See Match of the Day.
The tie between Fitton Hill Rangers and Cartshaft was postponed, while Rifle Range ‘A’ and Limeside King George drew 1-1, and now face a replay.
Nathan Eastmond scored for Rifle Range, while Liam Cashmore replied.
In the Division One Shield, Rifle Range ‘B’ beat Carrion Crow 4-1 on penalties following an exciting 3-3 draw.
Daniel Fitzhugh, Scott Edge and Adam Biggins scored for Carrion Crow in regular time, with Wayne O’Connell (two) and Dylan Ault replying.
Oldham Tigers beat Trap Inn 2-1 in the Division Two Shield competition.
Ryan Higginson and Ben McDonald scored for the Tigers, with Jonny Lambert replying.
